Mozzichi pret-a-porter — Restaurant in Rome

Absolutely loved this place! It’s a little street diner right near our accommodations. We had the eggplant parmesan sandwich which was great but I forgot to take a picture since I was too quick to dig in and enjoy. We also had the cheese and pepper fried stick. I would not have picked this but my boyfriend wanted to try it so I said what the heck why not. We split one and wow! So good! It was a little fried ball that had pasta with cheese and black pepper and it was so tasty! Not at all what I was expecting. We honestly might eat here again before we leave Rome, I want to try more...

We tried a couple of their sandwich options while there and liked them all. The large were a little too big to really bite properly but not unwieldy. Tasted great though so no issue there.

The main thing to try for me would be their Mangium - which is deep fried pasta on a stick essentially. It was good and something I hadn't had before which made it stand out. Would not call it a pasta popsicle though, my ground disagrees on that description I gave them (it's warm don't worry).

Localino situato nella zona pedonale del Pigneto:se venite in macchina,nelle ore di punta serali,armatevi di pazienza perché posti per parcheggiare ce ne sono pochi...se venite in metro C è perfetto e scendete alla fermata Pigneto,seguite la strada davanti l'uscita della metro e ve lo trovate quasi immediatamente sulla destra. Altrimenti prima della metro c'è un garage a pagamento! Dunque,si può mangiare direttamente lì,ma è molto piccolino,quindi anche qui si va un po' a fortuna e vi sedete. Se invece volete ordinare da asporto lo potete fare tramite il loro sito o per telefono e andate a ritirare in negozio (vedi sopra per posteggi/metro). Sono molto carini e gentili. I maritozzi sono fa-vo-lo-si... Noi abbiamo assaggiato,per quanto riguarda i salati, polpette,parmigiana,polipo e patate,stracotto e cipolle e gamberi con burrata versione piccola,qualità degli ingredienti alta,deliziosi. Per quanto riguarda i dolci abbiamo assaggiato in versione piccolina quello al tiramisù (ottimo), quello alla Nutella e panna,quello crema e amarena (particolare) ed il classico grande alla panna.
