Upon my recent visit to Rome, I had the pleasure of indulging in the exquisite ice cream at Neve di Latte, which has easily become the highlight of my Roman escapades. This quaint, artisanal gelateria situated in the heart of the Eternal City delivered a heavenly ice cream experience that has left an indelible mark on my taste buds.
As I stepped inside Neve di Latte, I was immediately captivated by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere, boasting a modern yet rustic charm. The friendly and knowledgeable staff were eager to assist, guiding me through their unique assortment of flavors made from only the finest, locally-sourced ingredients.
With a dizzying array of options, I finally settled on a combination of their signature flavors: Stracciatella al Cioccolato and Pistacchio di Bronte. The Stracciatella al Cioccolato was a sublime fusion of rich, velvety chocolate shards perfectly suspended in a creamy, milky base. The Pistacchio di Bronte, on the other hand, was a luscious green-hued masterpiece, with an intense and authentic pistachio taste that transported me to the sun-kissed hills of Sicily.
The texture of Neve di Latte's ice cream was nothing short of perfection: smooth, dense, and luxuriously creamy, without being overly sweet. Every spoonful melted in my mouth like a delicate snowflake, leaving behind a tantalizing aftertaste that had me longing for more.
In addition to their extraordinary ice cream, Neve di Latte's commitment to sustainability and supporting local producers made my experience all the more gratifying. It is evident that their passion for quality and excellence extends beyond the ice cream itself, and is deeply rooted in their philosophy and values.
In conclusion, Neve di Latte has truly elevated the art of ice cream making to a whole new level. This hidden gem in Rome offers an unmatched gelato experience that is not to be missed. I wholeheartedly recommend Neve di Latte to anyone seeking a transcendent taste of Rome in every...
Read moreAmazing gelato!! Super creamy and delicious; you can taste the purity of the ingredients - ie without artificial flavours, colourings or preservatives. By far the best gelato I’ve had in Rome. The Amadei gelato is marvellous (I may be biased as I love this Tuscan chocolate brand to start with), the pistachio di Bronte melts in your mouth into your heart... going back today to try other flavours, including the domori 100% chocolate, stracciatella and maybe the pistachio from Syria or the zabaione or the ricotta... can’t choose!! The space is also quite lovely, big, clean, pleasant, with free water and plugs to charge your phone if needed! But even without these great extras, I would go totally out of my way just for this gelato. It’s really worth it!!!
Update: I went back to this gelateria for 3 days following the first time on 17/04 (basically until I left Rome). Origina post was 18/04/19. So I tried the cioccolato sur del lago 100%, stracciatella, zabaione, ricotta, pistacchio di Syria, nocciola, creme all’uovo, neve di latte and cioccolato abinao 85% They are all very good, but my favourites are still the first ones I got, cioccolato Amadei and pistacchio di Bronte, though nocciola was also delicious!!! (Stracciatella is the only one that I would not get again; I had better ones in...
Read moreWell, folks, this is it 🤝 You've just reached the best gelaterie. I can easily say that it was the best ice cream that I've ever tried, if not the best food experience ever.
I've been to some cool gelateries in Tourist centre near Patheon. I've been to the "so called" best gelaterie in Florence, where people wait in queue to get an ice cream. None of them are even close to the unbelievable taste of gelate in Neve di Latte. Don't even waste your time and money on other gelateries. By some magical coincidence we had booked a b&b nearby and ran across this gemstone.
Pistachio gelate feels so rich and flavourful as if you put a bag of pistachios in your mouth. Raspberry is just impeccable, it literally hits you with a pure taste of natural berries. I regret only one thing - that I didn't have more time in Rome to try all the flavours. P.S. Coffee is also good, and the personnel is very...
