Pasticceria caffetteria spagnuolo — Restaurant in Rome

We came across this pasticceria on our way to the train station, and stopped for some local roman pastries. And boy, they were so amazing- they are etched as a beautiful memory now. We tried the Maritozzis, croissants, some plum pie and hot chocolate. The pastries tasted divine and really fresh with an undertones of lemon zest. Went there three times because the pastries are very good pastries, especially cornetto, which we had plain and with pistachio cream. Durante le nostre vacanze romane ci siamo trovati a passare per caso davanti a questo piccolo bar pasticceria....beh non ne abbiamo più potuto fare a meno! È stata la nostra tappa fissa per giorni!! La pasticceria è tutta di loro produzione e devo dire che noi abbiamo assaggiato molti prodotti, dal croissant, alle girelle con crema, alle sfogliatine con pera e cannella per finire al maritozzo con la panna, il nostro preferito 🥰. Caffè molto buono....Nel pomeriggio puoi fare un ricco aperitivo accompagnato da mini panini, pizzette e piccoli tranci di pasta sfoglia con patate e zucchine, tutto buonissimo e sempre di loro produzione. Ma la vera bellezza di questo locale sono i proprietari!!! Nei giorni abbiamo conosciuto Elisabetta e Lorenzo,mamma e figlio, sorridenti, disponibili e alla mano. Ci si sente come a casa!
