PIZZA DAI CINQUE — Restaurant in Rome

We had some pretty amazing Neapolitan pizza during our week long stay in Rome but we felt we wanted to try pizza al taglione before we left. So we found this place, and oh my, this pizza is MORE delicious than the Napolitano style, in our family’s opinion (we had 5 kids under 12 with us). It might not look the best, but that is because they will heat it up for you. The toppings were delicious but the stand out star was that crust!! Amazingly crisp bottom on every single slice, and even just the crust was delicious. Our favorite flavor was the one with just cheese and large chunks of sausage, and another favorite was the spicy salami one. The staff was gracious and friendly. Best pizza in Rome...

Wow!! I was recently in Naples and found out that there is a competition between Rome and Naples. After visiting both cities I can say that Rome pizza style is far superior. This pizza place is close to the Best Western Globus hotel and let me tell you that it is one of the best pizza place we’ve eaten at while in Rome. Also, the staff and owners are super lovely, happy to serve you with a smile. The Suppli is a special Roman Appetizer and they make it best!!
