We had dinner for two around 19:30. At that time the restaurant was mostly empty, but around 20:00 it quickly started to fill up.
Food: pizza's are relatively small (about half an average large pizza) but also cheap (4-6 euro) and quality was good so price/quality/quantity ratio was good in our opinion. Slighty more salty compared to other pizzas we tasted in Rome. We both had one of these pizzas and then shared some gnocchi with pesto, cheese and bacon. The bacon in it was horrible (very chewy, some blocks of bacon pure unchewable fat) so we took those out. The gnocchi themselves were good, and also whole weat! But because of the bacon quite disappointed in the dish. We had a classic tiramisu for desert (€2,50) which had good mascarpone and whipped cream but I missed the liqueur/coffee flavour a bit. Small size, even for this price.
Restaurant/service: Very nice waiters, good English and helpful. The restaurant felt cosy, we really enjoyed this. Also a possibility to sit outside.
Price: total bill was €22,50, so it's quite cheap! Water is cheap here, 2 euro/liter. We thought it was well worth it.
I would recommend this place, but stay away from the bacon, you're risking a...
Read moreMy Airbnb host suggested this pizzeria to me on my first night in Rome. Well, I end-up having my dinner every night for the rest of my stay in Rome.
Martina is a very friendly waitress as she speak good English so it ease the my communication as I don’t speak any italian. And Jessica speak a little English but that not a big deal as she’s is also friendly ,helpful and her smile will make your day
I was given an English translated version so it make my life easy
The croquette was fresh and crispy. There was night I had to order twice of the Vegan croquette as It eas so delicious.
As for the pizza, i love their version of Pizza Margherita. Very simple, crunchy and again super-delicious
And lastly, the nutella tiramisu. You have to taste it yourself. Martina knew that i like it so much that she doesn’t need to ask for it. She just write it down.
On average I spend about 15-18Eur for my simple four-course meal.
What can I say, this is my best restaurant of my holiday in Italy. I can be sure to the lovely boss and their waitress, I...
Read morePizzas are good and cheap, but at the same time ridiculously small; you need three of them to make up the size of a normal pizza, which actually makes them very expensive for the place. The miniature pasta dishes are served in a single use takeaway cardboard box, they are probably cooked in the microwave and they tasted like it. Deserts are even smaller than you can imagine, they are an absolute joke. This place only serves child portions, but charged as adult size portions. In the end we spent quite a lot of money here and we left hungry and with a marked ripped off feeling. The food we got served didn’t resemble in any way the food...
