A solid “Good” rating for this pizza, but not great. Summary of good points: 1. Pizza is clean, fresh and light (some pizzas I have eaten have very heavy cheese, this was just right) 2. Service is quick and with a smile 3. Wasn’t too busy when we arrived 4. Staff are friendly and there are enough of them around for you to promptly order additional items 5. Easy to navigate menu (which is also a negative point as below) Negative points: 1. Local area is very run down 2. Menu is very basic, literally 8 pizzas to choose from and very few toppings to choose from (there are no pasta dishes etc) 3. Decor is very basic, but clean 4. No cutlery provided, pizzas are served on paper 5. Soft drinks are unbranded (so no Coke or 7up) but still fine tasting 6. Not much else around the local area so you’ll literally just be coming to eat here and leave Final thoughts: I’m from the U.K. and would compare this pizza to Pizza Express - which I adore, it’s good quality, consistent and won’t leave you feeling heavy, but IT IS NOT A 4 or 5 star rated pizza place. However, I would definitely eat here again if I am in Rome. Do try it and you won’t be disappointed, but you just might not be overwhelmed.

I had stumbled across an article in Bon Appetit claiming Rome’s best food neighborhood is San Lorenzo, so on the last night of our Italy trip my wife and I decided to explore this area located on the opposite side of the Termini rail tracks. The article’s description of a vibrant, authentic local food and bar scene where tourists rarely venture turned out to be quite accurate. Our last stop- Fariné la Pizza. Boy are we glad we came here! This cute, casual neighborhood pizza restaurant delivers hot-out-of-the-oven pies to your table on a sheet of butcher paper. We found one last empty table on their patio and ordered two pizzas; a broccoli rabe and a diavola, along with a caraf of wine. The Pizzas were exceptional. Delicious, top quality ingredients on a magical crust that must come directly from the pizza gods… an absolutely perfect combination of taste, crunch and chew. Without question the best pizza I have ever had in my life!

Had the marinara and pastorale, I intentionally chose a non tomato based to try get a broader taste. I'm grateful to be able to taste authentic Italian pizza. their pizzas are really simple, vegetarian friendly and draws in a lot of the local families. It's also very cheap. It tastes great freshly hot so I'd recommend sitting inside so it doesn't get cold fast. The glasses waitress was really nice and helpful they bothered to ask how was the meal after, probably under the owners instructions 😅. I was the only foreigner in there before the local families all swarmed in at 8 so u know you're getting in on the local action.
