We, party of four, were seated at a table in a room that doubled as an office; TV on playing kids videos on YouTube with the most irritating music. Asked them to turn off, they obliged. Food ordered, two being lamb. What was provided as lamb was four chunks per place of pure bone, fat and gristle. On complaint, was told lamb is an animal of limited meat, with guy working in the ‘office’ literally showing us pictures of lamb on his laptop. Pictures included something I would’ve been happy to eat and an actual living creature. Green beans were also dull, floppy and microwaved/frozen or both. To their credit they offered to replace, but the damage was done. Owner/waiter was miserable and unfriendly and argumentative. One in our party ate about 20% of the pasta dish and described it as ‘dry’. We were not charged for the two plates of carcass thankfully so credit to them for that. In the interest of fairness a good meal was had by some of our party in a previous year but it’s not worth the risk,...
Read moreI came to this place because it was next to the hotel we were staying at. I was with my 3 year old daughter and her godparentsn on vacation. The waiter was extremely nice! The nicest waiter I’ve had in Italy! My daughter accidentally dropped a glass, and the old man owner came out very irate complaining that kids should do not belong in restaurants! Can you imagine my shock over a broken glass! This is not a fancy place where kids should be able to attend the chairs outside were plastic for Christ’s sake! DO NOT go here the food is not worth dealing with a miserable old man who clearly does not know customer service. I gave him a piece of mind and told him he should have a sign that says no kids allowed. He did not like that I had something to say, but oddly enough he was pleasant to my male friend...hmmmm guess women and kids seem to...
Read moreAbsolutely awful restsurant and a disgrace to Italian Cuisine. Food was barely warm, and tasted like it was microwaved from frozen. The "Tortellini alla panna in a cream sauce" that i had was tasteless, stuck to my teeth, and was covered in cream, not a "cream sauce" that was advertised on the menu. Said cream congealed/thickened but it was also tasteless. The bread we were "offered" was actually €2 per person, and was old/stale/awful. The house red wine was €6 but we should have said no when they mentioned that it was "on tap" and tasted like vinegar. Needless to say we paid because when there was a slight complaint the guy had the menu out pointing to and trying to justify everything and at that point we just paid, we didnt tip. Honestly avoid this...
