Ristorante Eritrea — Restaurant in Rome

We went to this restaurant to show our Italian friends injera. However we couldnt even order in our own language. Also we asked to speak to the chef, according to the waitress this wasnt possible which suprises us since in any restaurant it is normal to speak to the chef to ask for any specific requests. At least she could have forwarded our message but she refused. Eventually the sauces were fine, the injera itself was very sticky, didnt look like it was prepared by habeshas. A tip for the restaurant: hire Eritrean people, who are familiar with the food, to work for you who take the time to take an order and not rush...

I had the falafel and the Zighini di Agnello. First the falafel was soft and flavorful nothing like the dry American version of falafel I have been accustomed to. The lamb was tender beyond expectation. I highly recommend this restaurant for black Americans visiting Rome and looking for African food or just a “black owned” restaurant like I did. In una parola : scortesia. Ho telefonato per ordinare a domicilio , e mi hanno risposto che non effettuano più consegne. Ho domandato se facessero l'asporto, e mi hanno detto di sì. Così ho chiesto di poter effettuare l'ordine usando il servizio di corrieri esterno (la funzione "di tutto e di più" di glovo è completamente esterna e funziona come un normale asporto per il ristorante o qualsiasi altro negozio, quindi sarebbe arrivato il corriere al locale a ritirare e pagare il mio ordine esattamente come se fossi venuta io stessa, e avrei pagato in più la consegna direttamente al corriere, senza avere alcuna necessità per il ristorante di avere alcun tipo di portale o legame alcuno con il servizio di consegna) ma la donna che ha risposto al telefono continuava a ripetere di non avere il portale e sostenendo di aver capito benissimo, senza permettermi di spiegarle.... Ho effettuato ordini in questo modo da tantissimi altri locali che non hanno mai avuto glovo come piattaforma senza riscontrare alcun tipo di problema.
