Sant'Alberto Roma — Restaurant in Rome

Waited two hours to get 2 pizzas. I had to complain in order to get any type of update on our order. The waiters were very apologetic when I confronted them but upon speaking to the manager (short haired woman) she was extremely rude and hardly even addressed me nor apologized. Was told i would get a discount but never did. The manager deserves to be fired. Once we got our pizzas, the food was great. But there was a lot of confusion in the restaurant and seemed like a lot other people were mad as well. Based upon other reviews seems like this is typical of the place. Poor service, slow to bring food but good once you receive it. Very disappointed and wanted to yell at the manager but she just looked so unconcerned and generally disinterested. There are better places for pizza in the city. Id suggest to try...

I went to this restaurant in November 2017. I decided to write this review now, because I am going to Rome again and looked the restaurant up. I highly recommend this restaurant to say the least.

The food is amazing and the tiramisu is to die for. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and the prices are really friendly.

Last but not least: amazing staff!. The manager back then was super friendly to us and made us feel welcome. He introduced himself, but unfortunately I can't remember his name. The rest of the staff was really friendly too, we went back after our first visit and they recognized us. Our hotel was in the area, so whenever we walked by the restaurant and one of the staff was on a break we always got greeted by them.

Er were a group of 20. we preordered several days before.

Not only that the drinks came late, I waited 2 hours 45 minutes for a pizza the service forgot, twice. (Ordered 20:15 ; got my pizza 23:00, even after reminding them around 22:00) I received no excuse from the staff, nore a discount. It’s sad that this happens when the restaurant was not even full of people. It seemed like a normal Saturday evening. I feel very sad that this is possible in a big European city which wants to be the capitol of civilization. I will not recommend to visit this place. To stop with something positive, there was no AC so nobody could...
