Strozzaquintino is the bomb. They don't make restaurants like this anymore. No people staring glumly at their iPhones. No frills. No pretension. Just good simple honest food and wonderful service. I had the ossobucco with porcini which demanded that I meet the chef to see how he extracted such unctuousness from simple ingredients. He was only too happy to tell me. The owner of this place has absolutely no regard for the tranquility of the neighborhood. Gatherings, parties, and customers with kids and barking dogs until late at night.
