I'm sad to say this ended up being our worst experience in Italy. We had just come from the Roma vs Chelsea game and were looking for a late night bite and some drinks. The waitress told us they had a happy hour pizza available, and considering nothing on the menu was over €10, we thought that sounded great. When she game back with our food, she apologized that the pizza actually wasn't available and set down a plate of various bruschetta instead. We were hungry and in a good mood, so thought what the heck, we'll take it. After a few drinks, we asked for the check. It came back at €350, quoting the appetizer at €260. Wait, what??? We thought certainly there was a typo and confronted the waitstaff. They unconvincingly tried to tell us that our small plate of bruschetta (the one we didn't actually order in the first place) was in fact €260. When we argued the price, they brought out the "manager" who only yelled shut up in our faces and threatened to fight the two men in our group. I can only say I have never had a worse dining experience in my life. Never go here, you'll regret...
Read moreAvoid this place!! Tourist scum!! We sat there and ordered 3 double espresso and the price was 3.6 euros each. After we asked for the check 3 times and the waiter ignored us , she eventually came and took our 50 euro bill and gave us 25 euros as change. 25 EUROS FOR 3 DOUBLE ESPRESSO. We were supposed to pay 10.8 . When I argued with the manager he told me that the menu is only for takeaway even if we were sitting and there was an extra 20% fee for table service, but the menu didn't mention any of them. When I said that it is not written anywhere he said that I should ask for the price even tho we asked for a menu(????). Eventually because I did not back down he agreed to return 10 euros to me . So we eventually payed 5 euros for each cup ( 3.6 on the menu ). Avoid this place. Slow service. They scum tourists. And they probably buy the positive reviews or the dont...
Read moreThe food is alright, but too overpriced for what it is, I don't see the hype, because they also charge you 20% for the service, which makes your bill go up unreasonably. The service is nothing remarkable, definitely not worth 20%. We ended up paying 40 euros for 2 glasses of wine, one bruschetta and one tiramisu, which is insane in my opinion. The place has got loud music and is full of Italian youngsters (making you wonder how can they afford this overpriced and mediocre food, living in a country with high unemployment). These young people who can easily give 20-30 euros for a glass of wine or beer with a focaccia are the same ones who get offended when you tell them that maybe this is the reason they cannot afford to buy property. Do yourself a favor and go to other places down the street that won't rip you off and with the same money you can have a...
