Excellent room in the heart of Rome . Location is in the Prati Region within walking distance of Lepanto Metro Station , Vatican City , Sant Angelo Castle ,Piazza Navona , Pantheon all within walking distance from the place . The room is in an upscale apartment surrounded by a posh neighborhood. Better than most of the other neighborhoods in Rome . Residenza Cavour is a huge apartment converted into a 3 or 4 room BNB with each room having a private bathroom and toilet . BNB is located on the 3rd floor with elevator access . The bed is comfy and the heating is absolutely fine. Not much disturbances from the street facing room we got . The room size is descent and the toilet as well as the room was clean. The caretaker lady is warm and super nice to explain you everything you need to know about the room and the city . She went the extra mile of helping us with the breakfast early morning before their routine time as we had to checkout early morning .Bdw breakfast is served in the room at the specified time.. The reception or the hall area has cookies , tea , coffee and a few fruits which you can munch on in the day . The only issue was Cristian the owner of the BNB did not respond to the mails to confirm our booking .However 2 days prior to our arrival we called him up and he was prompt in replying pertaining to our check-in . The best room for the price I paid . And do not get paranoid if you don't get reply of your booking confirmation on email .Kindly call them over for a...
Read moreWe stayed here for four nights. The hotel is modern, comfortable and very clean. The room itself was quite small, but I have heard all hotel rooms are in Rome, and also we were only sleeping there so it wasn't even a slight issue. The location is fantastic. I had expected to be getting metros everywhere but we didn't actually use public transport once ( apart from to get to and from the airport) - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go including the Vatican, colosseum etc - which was amazing! The location also felt extremely safe as it is in the financial district, and there are restaurants and gelato shops (amazing) all along the surrounding streets.||The host Christian was really friendly and welcoming - he showed us to our room and then gave us a map and wrote on it to show us where all the tourist hotspots are, places to avoid and restaurant recommendations which we found really helpful.||Breakfast was included but we did not order any as we were setting off super early each day to get straight into sight seeing - but there were lots of options for cereal, egg, meats, juices & coffee. ||There is a communal area outside of the bedrooms where you can make a lovely coffee, have some cake or cookies (which were complementary) and also borrow a number of guide books on Rome.||Overall, we had an amazing time and would really recommend this...
Read moreCaution! On July 21st I booked a 2 night stay in May 2026 directly from their website. The reservation said book now, pay later, free cancel. I entered my credit card number and it confirmed zero will be charged now, and the card is to hold the reservation. I have screenshots to prove this.
I never received an email confirmation which I thought was odd and then I noticed my credit card was charged the full amount and emailed them about it and advised I never did receive a confirmation and included all my screenshots.
They admitted it was a system issue and offered to waive the 6 Euro per day/per person fee or refund me. I chose to refund and again asked for email confirmation.
They said they needed my account number as they could not put funds back in my credit card. Again, I thought this was odd but I did provide my account information. This was July 25, since then I have had no response. I have emailed several times to follow up and no response. I don’t know where things stand.
My cruise itinerary has changed and I booked knowing I had flexibility with book now, pay later option and now I don’t even know if I have an actual reservation since I never did receive a...
