Be careful tourist, they try to scam you!!

I had a very disappointing experience at this café. My friend and I ordered the exact same items: a latte and a croissant. She paid €4.50 for her order before leaving to catch her earlier train.

When I went to pay for mine, the staff insisted that my friend had not paid — even though I saw her pay with my own eyes. On top of that, they asked me to pay €7.50 for me and my friend’s order, which makes absolutely no sense.

It felt as though they were either trying to take advantage of the fact that I don’t speak Italian well, or possibly treating me unfairly because I wasn’t Italian. To make things worse, the staff even pointed to another Asian person and claimed she was my friend, and accused that I ate two croissants and two latte!!!!

We ordered one cappuccino and one flat white, and both were absolutely perfect. The coffee was smooth, rich, and full of flavor without being bitter — easily the best we’ve had throughout our entire trip across Europe. You can really tell the baristas here take pride in their craft, as every detail from the presentation to the balance of flavors was spot on.

After weeks of trying different cafés across various cities, this place stood out immediately and set a new benchmark for what great coffee should taste like. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was warm and efficient, and overall it was such a refreshing stop on our journey.

We needed shelter from rain so we found this specialty coffee place. Even though the two of us only ordered 1 coffee, the barista was incredibly patient and kind with us. Explained all the details about their beans and even gave us free cookies. The coffee tasted very smooth and had nice latte art on it, which somehow doesn’t come by very often in Italy.
