"Too bad I can't give 10 stars!" Totally, absolutely outstanding local spot with fantastic regional Italian specialties. La Salvatore in Salerno is a gem for anyone looking to experience the real flavors of Campania.

Their fried pizza (pizza fritta) is a revelation – golden, crisp, and filled with perfectly seasoned local greens. The focaccia is just divine: warm, fragrant, and with that authentic handmade touch you can’t fake. Every single item we tried was made with care and bursting with flavor.

The staff is incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming – just like the food itself. We didn’t feel like customers, but like warmly received guests. The owners clearly take pride in what they serve, and you can feel their passion in every bite.

Came here three times in two days. Places like these make you really miss Italy and its food when you leave. The service uncommonly warm and very attentive. We loved the farcita, margerita, and potato ham pizzas. The dough is soft but really crispy, not heavy just delightful. The sauce has an amazing flavor, and the cheese and toppings fresh and perfect. What a lovely experience! The food is fast and delicious. They use simple, traditional and local ingredients, even down to the home-grown basil! The people who run the place are so lovely, friendly and were super sweet with our kids - a chap and a pair of sisters - a real family feeling to the place where their warmth is truly felt.
