I decided to go here while waiting the hour between my ferry from Amalfi and train back to Rome. When I arrived the waiter wouldn’t acknowledge me standing and waiting to get seated so after about 5 minutes I said excuse me can I sit, then he had asked did only me and I said yes and he pointed to a table for me to sit. Once I was seated he continued to serve everyone’s table and I kept asking for a menu for about 10 minutes and still he didn’t bring one. Finally I go inside and found the menus myself and saw a manager I believe and asked for the shrimp linguini. He could tell I was a bit aggravated so after I ordered inside and went to sit he came to my table personally and asked if I wanted water to drink. I said yes and then proceeded to wait another 10 minutes. He remembered my water when I looked around and made eye contact with him before he brought it. Now its about 35 minutes before I have to leave for my train so I showed him my ticket to let him know I have to leave soon. He said no problem the train station is right there the food will be out in 10 minutes. 15 minutes pass and at this point I can’t sit and eat so I go back inside since the waiter was not coming to my table at all and asked for my food to go. He said okay. I wait another 10 minutes still no food! So I ended up leaving and not being able to eat before my 3 hour train...

While the antipasti were just ok, Scialatielli with clams, the primi pasta I ordered was simply horrible with only 4 little clams frolicking in a bland white sauce dotted with parsley. Even though the portion was small, I could hardly finish it and secretly regretting my dining choice while yearning for a slice of pizza to wash out the bad taste. The whole meal was a memory I am still trying to delete.
Unless you are desperate for some touristy meal near a train station, I would skip...
Read moreWe couldn’t find many restaurants along the water (mostly pizzerias) that had local fish and seafood, for dinner (there was one but it didn’t have food the evening we were there), and we found Binario Due on Google maps and it was very close to our B&B so we tried it. It did not disappoint! Our waiter had only 2 tables to start with, and he was so helpful and gracious (his English was impeccable btw!) and then was waiting on all the tables at once by the time we left, by himself. The food was AMAZING! I had the catch of the day, and my husband had the cod. Sooo good! And the eggplant parmigiana was melt-in-your-mouth good! Everything was very hot (including the potatoes) and served in a timely manner. And of course for dessert….tiramisu! ...
