Blanco — Restaurant in Salerno

My boyfriend and I have been staying near Salerno over the past few days and happened to stumble into this cafe/bar while we waited for our bus ride to Minori. The woman working there, whom I believe was named Marie, was a real joy to meet! Her kindness, helpfulness and enthusiasm for life was infectious which resulted in brief visits into the bar everyday of our stay - to see her, gain some travel tips and grab a delicious pastry. She has been one of the highlights of our trip and we will never forget her!...

Just got scammed by this place. We bought two cokes, one iced coffee, one juice and one croissant.

When paying, they tried to charge €24. It didn’t feel right, so I challenged it. The Italian lady apologised, saying that she made a mistake before presenting €20.

I later found a menu - it should have been about 40% cheaper. I also found a bunch of reviews with the same complaint.

Very bad experience. Food was cold, cutlery was dirty . Drinks were served in an dirty glasses. The worst is the bill because is was not correct, they changed the prices on the spot .
