Il Cavatappi Pizzeria — Restaurant in Salerno

I would not go back to this restaurant. We ordered two Caprese Salads, one pizza and water. We asked for bottled water and received water from the tap in their Cavatappi bottle. They charged us 2.50 euro for tap water, when we requested bottled. The pizza was very good but the Caprese Salad was definitely not worth 10 euro a piece. The 5-6 tomatoes were cold from the fridge, and not ripe and the mozzarella di bufala was watery (the liquid the mozzarella comes in needs to be drained). There was minimal seasoning and oil. I questioned the order and simply received a shoulder shrug. We will not go back, not even...

An incredible restaurant!!! Some of the best food we’ve had yet in Italy. The Napoletana and Tramonti pizzas make my mouth water and leave me wanting more.

We had the arancino and focacce with tomatoes, prosciutto, buratta cheese and basil. I lost feeling in my legs after that. So imagine the total out of body experience I went through after those pizzas. INCREDIBLE.

We ordered two margaritas, a crochet and a carpese salad. Although the carpese salad was written as 5 euro on the menu, the bill came as 10 euro. When we asked about it, they said that there was an error in their menu for today. It was not our problem,I ordered accordingly this. Also their style was not polite and solution oriented. Besides that, I've never been anywhere that made me feel so much pressure "if you've eaten, leave" in a restaurant where I was sitting by paying a service fee. I don't recommend it when there are so many places to eat good food...
