Visiting this café was one of my personal highlights on my trip around the Amalfi coast — which is saying a lot! The staff were so friendly and gave us great recommendations for coffee. My husband and I also enjoyed amazing pastries and fresh fruit. The owner chatted with us about his family and the story behind the café’s name and he treated us to a sampling of his house-made granita. I am still dreaming about it! Had problems with our airbnb and we were exhausted, so we sat here to get a wifi connection and charge our phones. The staff were really nice, they recommended a good specialty coffee blend and let us stay for a long time (until around 8 pm) while we tried to solve our airbnb problem, carrying all of our luggage with us. Ho avuto occasione questa sera di intrattenermi nel locale con alcuni amici, la musica dal vivo ha accompagnato ed è stata molto gradita, purtroppo non posso dire altrettanto del trattamento culinario, che lascia molto a desiderare. Mi permetto di fare una critica del genere essendo un frequentatore di molteplici locali, dove la cucina è certamente degna di essere chiamata tale, ma qui certe cose non si possono vedere. Posso capire che tutto sommato è un bar, dove si massimo prendi il caffè, fai colazione, ma organizzare una serata dove proponi una cenetta, che sarà anche piccola, ci vuole esperienza e onestà, si perché oltre al cibo che non era all'altezza di essere chiamato tale, anche sul prezzo non ha avuto professionalità, considerando che da 15 euro a persona prezzo stabilito per l'occasione, è salito a 27 con tanti dubbi. E non mi si venga a dire il vino, che le due bottiglie arrivate a tavola costano 3,50 cadauna e ce le ha vendute a 25. Peccato per loro, hanno perso 9 potenziali clienti...
