This was our first visit to an Adler property. We will be back! It started off well with our room being available early, love that. We stayed in the Adler Balance which is attached via a below ground level walkway with the Adler Dolomiti. And they share the large spa (pools, saunas, gym). It’s a very short walk. The bar is in the Dolomiti. The room was quite large with a nice view of the town and mountains. If you’re a light sleeper, the church with loud bells are very close, but if you keep the door shut it’s not too loud. The bed was comfortable and a nice seating area with a couch and table along with a desk and chair. The closet is great! So big with shelves and plenty of hangers. We couldn’t figure out the thermostat and IMO the hotel is kept very warm (it was snowy outside so maybe most people enjoyed the heat). The bathroom was good sized as well. I loved the heated floors and appreciate the separate toilet closet (with bidet and small sink). Good water pressure in the shower and thank you for having good sized toiletries. The robes are fluffy and warm and I liked the flip flops instead of slippers. The spa is huge and has pretty much any option one could want. The gym is so spacious. Great free weight options, weight machines, and cardio equipment. They offer multiple classes each day as well. There are two pools that are kept at two temps. I enjoyed the slightly warmer one that has great jets in the wall. The hot (185 degree) sauna is in the adult building. It’s textile free but you can wear a towel. There is also a steam room and bio hay sauna with a great view. The one actual hot water hot tub is in this area as well. Very nice to soak while looking at the mountains. Breakfast was good. Nice options. It would have been nice to have the egg options change instead of being the same daily. Half board includes breakfast and dinner. If you stay in the Balance you dine there (unless your request to dine in the Dolomiti and they have space). For dinner there are two menu options (with multiple course options) and a few consistent items offered daily. I did like that you can pick any of the courses. There is also a salad and cheese buffet to enjoy. The wine list good sized with some very tasty wines. Service was good. The Dolomiti had more options and a large dessert buffet. I enjoyed the winter hikes that were offered. Very fun and my first time with snowshoes. They also offer ski tours with a guide. It’s an under 10 min walk to two gondolas to two different ski areas. Very convenient! And right in town near many shops and restaurants. It was a wonderful stay for the holidays (with fun Christmas surprises). The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back and want to try other Adler properties as well.

This might be the gushiest of all my gushy posts but here we go. My husband and I spent a glorious week here as part of our honeymoon in October-November 2020. I have never stayed in any place so outstanding and probably never will again (unless we manage to return). Adler Balance has ruined me and all my future hotel experiences, which I fear will never live up to what a perfect stay we had. The Adler resorts have been in operation for over 200 years and I'm telling you, they have it down! They truly are in a league of their own. From the moment we arrived to when we checked out (mentally clinging to the pant legs of the concierge), every little thing was taken care of for us and made us feel like we were breathing a week-long sigh of relief. Our mornings usually started with a cleansing swim in the heated outdoor saltwater pool, while on some days it was snowing (actually snowing) around us. Then yoga and pilates sessions (complimentary), saunas, steam rooms, massages and SPA treatments, crisp walks in the Dolomites, guided hikes, relaxing in the outdoor hot tub, reading by the open fire, more swims... all punctuated by the most exceptional food and drink. We were on a half-board package, but it was really more like all inclusive. We couldn't believe how much was offered (especially since we were there off-season) - really the only 'extra' we paid for was alcohol, though having said that we did avail of a wine tasting class one evening, also free. I've never eaten better in my life. Every meal was a delight. The chefs are truly talented and put immense care into planning the menus and preparing their dishes, which change daily. The staff, too, go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. They are attentive, genuine and kind, friendly but not overpowering and clearly held to very high standards in terms of training. They seem to second-guess what you need before you even realise it yourself. A special thanks to Marica, whose fresh-faced smile at breakfast always helped to start our day on the right note. I genuinely can't think of anything I didn't like or any 'areas for improvement'. All I can say is that if you ever have the opportunity to stay at this wonderful resort, take it! It was an absolute pleasure.

Amazing hotel within walking distance to all of the restaurants, shops and cable cars to Seceda. The spa was absolutely incredible - one of the best I’ve ever visited. Barbara was a wonderful masseuse and McKayla was great for my facial. The Mountain View balcony rooms have a beautiful view and are incredibly spacious (much larger than any other hotel we’ve stayed at in Europe). They truly thought of everything to make the guest experience perfect. We plan to stay at another Adler Resort next time we are in Italy.

Disappointing. We were so excited about this hotel and left completely disappointed. Considering how many flaws we experienced during our 4 night stay, I cannot comprehend how this hotel can be considered a 5 star hotel. 1 - Dinner. We have 4 dinners in total, out of which 2 were at the "balance" side and 2 at the "dolomiti" side. The "dolomiti" side - Dinner is a complete disgrace (and I'm being gentle with my wording). All of the dishes look and taste like there were prepared by a kid. I cannot understand how the manager of this hotel thinks that the dinner is acceptable for a 5 star establishment - it doesn't even qualify for a 4 start hotel. All the dishes are extremely simple and lacking of taste and we were even server undercooked pasta TWICE (how a chef in Italy can mess up cooking pasta is beyond me). The only bright side to this dinner were the desserts, which were good. If all of that is not enough, some section of this restaurant are some 50 (!!!) meters away from the buffet (appetizers and deserts)... How can someone think this kind of distance is acceptable is beyond me. The "balance" side - dinner was OK, but nothing to be excited about. Deserts were of low quality. On both sides there's very little selection and if for example you don't like a certain type of food (for example sea food), you're left with absolutely no choice. 2 - Spa. This is without a doubt the highlight of this hotel, however there's a very annoying aspect to the spa - a client cannot activate the jets in the pool on demand! There's simply no button to activate it - the jets are turning on and off randomly which is extremely frustrating. I've never encountered such a design flaw in any spa I've been to. 3 - Room. The room is OK, but agian nothing to be excited about. The room also have a severe design flaw - for some reason the light in the bathroom is motion activated only (there's no physical button to control it), which means if you go pee on the middle of the night, you're blinded by the light. For me personally, as a light sleeper, was horrible as I couldn't fall asleep afterwards. 4 - Service. The vast majority of the staff are young and do not possess the necessary experience to work at such a high class hotel. The service was not bad by itself, but was absolutely lacking the class and refinment one might expect from a hotel at this class.

Overall, considering that a night in this hotel costs well over 500€, I cannot advise anyone to visit there. There are other higher quality hotel around at a similar or...
