Plaza's Restaurant & Wood Fired Pizza — Restaurant in Salten-Schlern - Salto-Sciliar

I went here with my family and boy did we love it!!! First off, the food was whimsical both taste but also presentation! Serving sizes were great, my pops got one of the many pasta options and the serving size was a bit small so don’t be afraid to ask how large the serving size is!! Not only this but when staying in Italy there aren’t as many vegetarian options but this place offers wonderful soups and salads!

The dessert was heavenly, we indulged in three different desserts, the scrambled pancake, the tiramisu and the affogato and we loved all three!

Our waiter was very helpful regarding our questions and he was also immensely good looking, as an older woman he made me feel just as worthy as any other! He cracked hilarious jokes, for example he saw our clean plates and made a comment on how we must’ve hated the food, hilarious!

If my family had gone here sooner in our stay we definitely would’ve come twice!!

The pizza was ok but the pasta was most likely just reheated, was dry and lacked flavour. Considering the food not being that great it was also pretty overpriced. Since this was supposed to be a 4 start hotel it was rather disappointing.

Reply to owner's response: I rather not. Maybe as long as it doesn't involve food.

With that said, I believe my friend wanted to say something along the lines of that he's grateful that if something happened in your restaurant, that there wouldn't be an issue with the EU's GDPR laws regarding purpose limitations of safety cameras. And also that sometimes when you pay a certain amount of money for food, finishing it might not be about taste. What a beautiful restaurant and incredible experience! Our waiter was nice and he was so patient and helped recommend and alter a couple of dishes to fit my dietary requirements. I was so appreciative. The chef clearly loves his job and loves making food for others to enjoy. He was observing his patrons to ensure they were enjoying their food.. and was just so lovely and happy, it was infectious 😊. His presentation of the dishes was just gorgeous and the food incredible. This is our first dining experience in Italy and all we can say is (and I hope this is correct, I used Google translate)- Grazie per il cibo incredibile, la splendida impiattamento e il personale meraviglioso.
