While Gelateria Kopakabana is not on the main drag, it was a welcome site after wandering around Siena inside the city walls. There is a good selection of flavors including traditional and non-traditional flavors. They also have quite a selection of cold desserts that look that they would be great for parties and celebrations. Definitely a great stop if you're in this part of Siena.

También tienen tartas para llevar y bebidas frescas. La heladería queda un poco apartada de la calle principal, pero a su favor hay que decir que, además de que están buenos, son helados generosos, grandes y a buen precio. Recomendable.

Gelateria #9 this trip to Italy. This place is GREAT! Walked past it the first day in Siena because the name of the shop made me doubt their quality. But after reading prior reviews I had to check it out for myself. Glad I did. Outstanding! Creamy texture. Full flavors. Large portions. They also offer a bacci (chocolate covered vanilla ice cream lips), found in the display with the cakes. For those who like to try something new, they offer a handful of interesting flavors. I like a shop that is willing to take a risk offering novel flavors. But if you prefer the standards (vanilla, chocolate, pistachio…) they got those as well. Score 95/100 Highly recommend! Reconocida como una de las mejores heladerías de Siena.

Los helados en Italia son una debilidad para cualquiera, sobretodo en verano, ya que además de alimentar, refrescan y ayudan a combatir las altas temperaturas. Así que al estar por la Toscana no iba a desaprovechar probar algunas de las mejores heladerías según fuentes de información locales. En siena, nos recomendaron, Kopakabana, que mucho nombre italiano no tenía. A primera vista destacó; la simpleza del local y la cola de sieneses, en plenas fiestas, que degustaban algunos de la gran cantidad de sabores que se ofrecen. Heladería por tanto local, con precios ajustados y buena cantidad tanto en cono o en "coppa".
