Been in Italy for two weeks when I found this restaurant, so had before pastas in a few cities, among “regular” places and a high end places, which were ok but none was serving a pasta that tased like I thought it would taste before I got to the country, until I got to this place. I ordered the tortellini with the pumpkin and when finished that I ordered the spinach, and because both were delicious I ordered as well the one with the meat and the Parmesan gravy. The portions were enough, it just that I liked it a lot, and I knew I probably won’t find lots of places like that again. I think that the balsamic on the spinach can be served aside but it’s a matter of a personal taste. All flavors were balanced. They make it simple but they know how to do it well! It's a hard-working couple running the place and it's very easy to tell this is their passion. Our host/server was very kind, made many recommendations (his wife made the incredible pumpkin and sage butter tortellini I ate as an entree). We ordered the works: a glass of wine, an incredible Tuscan specific salumi app, 2 entrees, and tiaramasu for dessert... all for 48 euros. We were feeling peckish but not super hungry, and we ate everything because it was all so amazing. Navigating the back streets of Siena was worth it to eat at this...
