Been in Italy for two weeks when I found this restaurant, so had before pastas in a few cities, among “regular” places and a high end places, which were ok but none was serving a pasta that tased like I thought it would taste before I got to the country, until I got to this place. I ordered the tortellini with the pumpkin and when finished that I ordered the spinach, and because both were delicious I ordered as well the one with the meat and the Parmesan gravy. The portions were enough, it just that I liked it a lot, and I knew I probably won’t find lots of places like that again. I think that the balsamic on the spinach can be served aside but it’s a matter of a personal taste. All flavors were balanced. They make it simple but they know how to do it well! The owners, a married couple, are really friendly and welcoming, and give you a home meal vibe. Keep serving amazing food and I wish you...

As a chef with more than 17 years of experience working in professional kitchens and now creating high-end, personalized dining experiences, I deeply value when the owners themselves cook and run the restaurant.

This was, without a doubt, the best meal we’ve had in Italy during our three-week trip. The pasta was cooked to absolute perfection, the flavors were exquisite, the bread served at the beginning was amazing, and the tiramisù was simply unmatched.

The service is warm and personal, full of passion. It’s worth noting that during very busy times, the food may take a little longer to arrive — but every second is worth the wait.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly authentic culinary experience, where every dish is made with...

Not joking when I say this: this is the best meal I've had in a very long time. My husband and I are in Italy for 2 weeks and it is the best meal we've had so far. It's a hard-working couple running the place and it's very easy to tell this is their passion. Our host/server was very kind, made many recommendations (his wife made the incredible pumpkin and sage butter tortellini I ate as an entree). We ordered the works: a glass of wine, an incredible Tuscan specific salumi app, 2 entrees, and tiaramasu for dessert... all for 48 euros. We were feeling peckish but not super hungry, and we ate everything because it was all so amazing. Navigating the back streets of Siena was worth it to eat at this...

YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE! It’s a little hole in the wall and you will probably walk past it at first. The food is simple but absolutely amazing. We had all the pasta dishes, they were incredible. And the ice cream with balsamico was so good. It is a family run business run by man and wife and the service really reflects all the love they have for food. Super small prices as well, we almost couldn’t believe it. I would eat here every day if we were staying in Siena. Unfriendly we are not, but we will consider driving the 30 minutes to this place again just for the pasta and ice cream and friendly smiles.

I find other people's reviews quite surprising given the poor quality of the diner we got served last night. The salad should be renamed lettuce since it is the only ingredient I had on my plate (3 cherry tomatoes cut in half, a bit of parmesan sprinkled on top, 3 small pieces of stale bread and the thinest slice of salami are enough to call it a salad apparently). My partner had the pumpkin pasta which were ok but slightly on bland side. The restaurant is on the main street which means scooters are driving past incessantly. I would not recommend going.
