Broke my own rules here of trying out a gelateria where the gelato is uncovered, and the flavours a bit kitsch - because I was hungry, fancied something sweet and was swayed in the end by some review analysis. It ended up being a great decision. Creamy, tasty gelato with strong flavours. Not the best I’ve ever had, but it’s some of the best you’ll find in Siena and still well worth your time. P.S - get the lemon cake and thank me later ;)

Stopped in for a small cone and a small cup (each €3), you get two flavours with each small. We got Lindor in the cup and Limone and Mango in the cone. Mango was the best flavour, a really good mango flavour, not artificial tasting. Limone was refreshing and a little bit tart. Lindor was chocolatey, no real chunks of chocolate, just a few pieces from the top that made it into the cup. Overall, good gelato, would get again.

I had their version of affogato which was your choice of gelato with hot chocolate, the creme de pistachio was the biggest hit! But you couldn’t go wrong we had hazelnut, original pistachio, kinder bueno, vanilla, chocolate and they all were delicious!

It’s off the beaten path, recommended by our tour guide as the best Gelato in Siena. We couldnt disagree! I had their version of affogato which was your choice of gelato with hot chocolate, the creme de pistachio was the biggest hit! But you couldn’t go wrong we had hazelnut, original pistachio, kinder bueno, vanilla, chocolate and they all were delicious!

Always in search of the best ice cream in town, we went for this one in Siena. After ~6 gelaterias in Tuscany, Nice gets a nr 2 position after Dondoli in San Gimignano. Also without making this comparison within Tuscany, I must say the ice cream was delicious. Both the sweet chocolate flavours as well as the fruit flavours. 3 euro for the small ice cream with 2 flavours. Good value for money.

Ps. Avoid Key Largo bar next door....
