Aloe&Wolf — Local services in Siena

On holiday in Lucca with my wife and my mum who, (along with me) love a little retail therapy. After some research it became obvious that this was the shop for us, on a visit to Siena. In fact, “shop”, does not do this extraordinary palace of all things beautiful enough justice. The ladies were so helpful and kind, my mum fell in love with a Channel bag, there was no pushy behaviour, just kind words and advice. After deciding she would like the bag the lovely ladies found a vintage Botega bag for me. It is beautiful. We left with both bags, having just enjoyed a warm conversation and even a recommendation for lunch and a contact to watch Palio. This shop is a gem. Fabulous selection of vintage at fair and varied price points. I was especially drawn to their expansive collection of vintage (new stock) eyewear & regret not getting a few frames to bring home. I had to do chemotherapy last summer & my hair has been in a very awkward grow out phase for a while. I’ve been looking all over for a head band I can wear everyday, and found the perfect one (their in house line - beautifully sewn out of vintage fabric). The shopkeeper was so, so kind and demonstrated all the different ways it can be worn and styled with short hair. The experience really boosted my spirits...

Fantastic shop with so many gems! We had a super nice conversation with the owner/lady there. Due to an electricity cut in the street caused by a thunderstorm there was no light in the shop. We still got to go and check out the warehouse aswell as the shop itself! So so impressed and if our budget would have let us, we would have splurged!
