I wasn’t expecting much. I ate a huge extravagant 3-pasta course lunch from 2-5pm and thought I’d buy something (just in case I got hungry) for dinner at 10pm. I didn’t want pizza or anything since I was still full. I asked which sandwich to buy (pointing at the display) and was told to go for the Ham & Cheese (it was only €3.99). I brought it back to the hotel with a huge €1 sparkling water. The sandwich (and the shop) didn’t look like anything special. However, once I started eating the sandwich I couldn’t stop. It was so good! I’m not even a sandwich person but the mozzarella, tomato and ham just blended into a creamy yummy mix in my mouth. What a surprise! I’m so glad I stopped here instead of anywhere else. I might have to go back for more! It was definitely much better than any pizza.

An above average Spar shop with a wide range of stock at very reasonable prices, the surprise is the 'Bite of Italy' deli counter inside, which offers superb meats, cheeses and olives, plus a fantastic menu of freshly prepared Italian sub sandwiches. This store was a great support for my Sorrento stay, offering all the rose, cold beer, and, my personal choice, Roma Sandwiches, at a third of the price of the hotel I was staying at a few minutes away, and twice the quality. Lovely people running this store too. Grazie!

Esperienza orribile ,ieri sono stata in questo supermercato ,ho comprato due spazzolini di sotto marca della despar un dentifricio e un pettine il conto era di 7,80 euro ,il ragazzo biondo che dice di essere il titolare (poco ci credo) ,non mi aveva fatto manco lo scontrino ,torno indietro e chiedo spiegazioni per il conto e per lo scontrino è mi dice che uno spazzolino costa 2,20 modificandomi lo scontrino a matita inventando che aveva segnato un solo spazzolino ,incredula il giorno dopo ritorno e mi dice che lo stesso spazzolino costa 1,80 ,mentre una signora che conosco l’ha pagato 1.10 nello stesso negozio . Non ve lo consiglio ,sono imbroglioni e non vi fidate mai se non c’è il prezzo . Esperienza super negativa ,spero voi seguiate il mio consiglio .
