I rented two sunbeds at this beach club in Sorrento, and during my visit, one of the sunbeds caused severe discoloration on my sunhat. The dye from the material transferred onto the hat, leaving it completely ruined — something that simply shouldn’t happen when you’re paying €25 per sunbed.
To make matters worse, the process of choosing sunbeds was confusing and poorly handled. Initially, we were clearly told by a staff member that we could choose any available sunbed within the area. However, after my friend had already paid, we were suddenly informed that only specific beds were available to us and that others were reserved. This crucial information was only shared after payment, which meant we didn’t get the spots we had wanted — and had no chance to make an informed decision beforehand.
When I later reached out to explain what had happened with the ruined hat, I received a dismissive and defensive reply from the owner, Antonino. Instead of showing any concern, he denied all responsibility and implied that I must be mistaken, despite the fact that I provided both a receipt and photos of the damage.
We also spent additional money at the beach bar on four drinks, so we definitely supported the business beyond just renting the sunbeds — which made the lack of professionalism and accountability even more disappointing.
Overall, this place is overpriced, disorganized, and lacks basic customer care. There are many better options in the area where both your belongings and your time will be treated with more respect. I...
Read moreWe visited this private beach and had a wonderful experience. The location is stunning — crystal-clear turquoise water right in front of ancient Roman ruins, which added so much charm and value to the day. Truly beautiful.
We made our reservation the night before by sending a message on Instagram, and they replied instantly. The only condition was to arrive before 11:00 am so the reservation would be honored. We got there right on time, around 10:55/11:00, and were given premium spots in a perfect location.
The water was calm and beautiful to swim in, and the sunbeds were very comfortable. We brought our own snacks and drinks, which was no problem at all, and we also ordered some drinks on site. The staff was very attentive and friendly throughout the day.
The entrance fee is €30 per person. I understand some people may find it expensive to pay for beach access, but in this area (Sorrento/Amalfi Coast), beaches are mostly private and man-made. Considering how expensive the region is in general, I think €30 is absolutely worth it. Coming from Berlin, where a nightclub entrance easily costs €20–30, paying the same for a full day under the sun in such a beautiful setting felt more than fair.
We stayed until around 6:30 pm, enjoyed the sun the whole day, and the place never felt overcrowded. Overall, money very well spent and an experience I...
Read moreWe wanted to get fully involved in the culture and sights of Sorrento, which meant stepping away from the hotel pool. We enjoyed soaking up the culture and people watching, with the Italian families next to us enjoying a day at the beach.
I have to say, this place was amazing and we loved every minute.
We booked through Instagram and when we got there, the whole operation was fantastic with the guys talking through radio's and taking you to your sunbeds.
They gave us a great location where we could see the old roman walls and easily get into the water from either sides.
The loungers could be deemed expensive, but they are great quality and the changing rooms, toilets and showers are all included.
We stopped here for lunch and have to say, the portion size for the sandwich and chips was great.
Swimming here was perfect as you had the shallows if you didn't feel as comfortable and you can venture further out to sea if your feeling braver. Plus, take goggles with you as its great for watching the fish around the rocks...
