Easily the worst pizza we had in our entire Italy trip. Both were frankly devoid of any flavor whatsoever, and completely bland and forgettable. We could barely finish them they were so bad. Also every piece of basil that was on the pizza was completely brown and old. Also the espresso was really bad. We sat at the metal lounge chairs, *not* at a table, and literally ate the pizzas on our lap, but were still forced to pay a "service" charge for non-existent service and no table. Even though we got no service whatsoever and even cleaned the table ourselves. When I tried to refuse the 4 euro charge, the young attendant refused. Again, we literally did not have a table, ate food on our laps, and got zero service from the lackadaisical staff. This is obviously a tourist trap because it's right on the water and the prices reflect that. Literally go anywhere else if you want actual real food with flavor and intention. It was laughably bad. Pretty view though.

When me and my friends visited Ortigia on our study abroad program, we were lucky enough to meet Luca and Claudio. Their service is superb, always having wonderful recommendations and never failing to showing us an excellent time, please visit them on your next visit to Siracusa! The best bruschetta in all of Ortigia. Luca will personally prepare you the most excellent espresso martini, with a fresh shot of espresso.

Ordered the pasta 🍝 (spaghetti) with 3 types of tomato. It’s very creamy, the pasta seems like it’s made fresh, and it’s cooked aldente. Very sweet staff, and a great seafront view. Good mood and good music even when if season. You have it all to yourself, when of season on a Wednesday. But for us, that was great.
