I can’t really relate to the bad reviews. The Cafe has very friendly staff, nice seating with a beautiful view and a broad selection of home made ice cream and granite (which they are very passionate about). The drink prices may come with a small premium but I have never been to a place that has a location benefit and does not monetize on it - no harm done. We went there twice and everything was really good. In the afternoon nice snacks are offered with your drink, which is always a great extra non-Italians - we are just not used to...

Nonostante la maggior parte delle recensioni fossero negative ho comunque voluto provare e inutile dire che si è rivelato per ciò che era, dal primo istante. Ci accomodiamo al tavolo (5 ragazzi) e aspettiamo per circa 25/30 minuti prima che qualche cameriere arrivasse per prendere l’ordinazione, dopodiché arrivano i primi due cocktail, su cinque, e ci viene immediatamente portato il conto dicendoci che doveva essere saldato (considerando che era domenica e c’era piuttosto confusione è stato plausibile), ci viene detto che dobbiamo saldare tutto il conto in un unico pagamento carta o contanti che fossero (su questo non ci sarebbe nulla di male, se non il tono sgarbato e maleducato usato da uno dei responsabili ai tavoli). Dopodiché arrivano i restanti cocktail e il tagliere di salumi da noi ordinato: costava la bellezza di 12€ e giuro che pensavamo scherzassero , abbiamo perfino chiesto se ci fosse stato qualche errore e avessero portato un tagliere più piccolo per fraintendimento. Mi rispondono che hanno portato ciò che abbiamo richiesto ai colleghi e quando ho replicato sono stata quasi rimproverata perché non accettavano il fatto che ci si lamentasse per un costo così elevato proporzionato ad una portata che non meritava nemmeno di essere servita. Quindi lo abbiamo fatto riportare indietro! Aldilà di tutto, il posto merita, location bella, ortigia magnifica…ma scegliete altri posti dove consumare. Spendete meno e sarete trattati decisamente meglio. Prezzi troppo alti per merce di poco valore, cordialità pari a zero così come...
