This is the first time Google let me down! This place was just ok. It’s good if you’ve never had Indian food. Had the vegetarian samosas, fried beef sandwich (served and stuffed with cold French fries) and the chicken tikka masala - calling this dish average is a compliment. We’ve been in Sicily for a month and wanted something different.
While the food was fine the behavior in the kitchen was troubling. I was grossed out when I watched the waiter, wearing no gloves or even washing his hands handling food. Why was he rolling up our sandwich after handling money? Putting the garnish on the plates? Scooping the fries? Really put us off our meal.

Located close (a 5 min walk) to the old part of the city, the island called Ortigia, and close to a huge parking lot, it is very accessible, even during high season.
If, like us, you like Indian food, you won't be disappointed. It's real Indian cuisine, and you can even watch them cook, as it is an open kitchen. An open kitchen is always welcome to me as an additional guarantee there is nothing to hide.
The owners are very friendly, the food and wine excellent, and the prices extremely affordable.

Unfortunately the day we were there they were very understaffed - it was a long wait and they looked overworked but still were doing their best and the food was well worth the wait.
