Bad food. Rude waiter/owner. We ordered Trump and Biden burgers, potato skin with bacon on it and chicken fillet. I’ve never seen my partner so angry! More… -

They met us nicely, the waiter met us and everything went good. We sit down and the other main character (waiter/owner), went to accept our order(without asking how we want our meat to be done). Everything was nice until the food came and my husband tried the starter, potato skin. It was horrible, the most cheapest shredded cheese with bacon on it and it was super greasy. My chicken fillet tasted like a grill, I could not even tell what meat that was if I’d close my eyes and guess. The guest of honour, the Biden and trump burgers were the worst burgers I’ve ever seen in my life

My burger: trump burger is like twice size of my head, not even appetising, the meat was overcooked, tasted like rubber. The same as bacon - burned, disgusting. My husbands burger: a chunk of caramelised onions on the top and i don’t know how can you even cook like that, but half of the steak was RAW and half of the steak was overcooked. Pigs eat better!

We are nice people that don’t like to argue about this kind of thing, but we just wanted to get out of there, so we asked for the bill and the waiter was surprised why we didn’t eat any of their dishes. We sat down for a few hours at this wonderful restaurant after finding some good reviews. We were not disappointed one bit! The owner was so knowledgable and passionate about the meats and wines, we had the Fiorentina tomahawk and Abraham Lincoln burger. They explained fully where the meat was sourced from and why it was special and we also saw it aging in the fridge. The burger was one of the best we’ve had in a long time and the steak was extra special and full of flavour. Fantastic restaurant, our favourite meal in Sicily yet! A friend and I came initially for the shisha which we enjoyed outside (decent range of flavours and smooth). We got chatting with the owner and he was very passionate about the meat and wine they serve so we opted to stay late and have dinner. What an excellent decision!

Steak was beautifully seasoned and cooked, amazing flavour and the Sicilian red chosen to match was perfect. A great night with lovely service. Such fans we are headed back again tonight!...
