I returned back from Sicilia just shy of 3 weeks ago, and I’m still reminiscing the afternoons and evenings I spent at Officina77, eating the most delicious plates of pasta, while revisiting service of the highest quality, with the most wonderful smile - from no other than the wonderful GIUSY!! This place is so good we ate here twice in one day. The food here is Roma style, and I’d say it’s some of the best pasta I’ve ever eaten. The owner is so lovely and friendly, plus there’s great vegetarian and vegan options. Also it’s so reasonably priced. For lunch we had cacao e pepe, gnocchi with taleggio and aspargus, with a side of green beans, followed by tirimisu and a coffee. THE BEST PASTA IN SICILY. We were surprised to find the most incredible Roman style cuisine (pasta, pizza, veggies, etc) in Sicily. The il Matriciano and the Cacio e Pepe were absolutely phenomenal. We visited Siracusa for 3 days and we ate here every single day. Truly the best pasta dishes we’ve found in Italy. The staff are incredibly kind, friendly and the restaurant is woman owned. Good food, great service, quick by Italian standards - we couldn’t have been more blown away by this hidden gem. We will come back to Sicily just to eat at this restaurant again. Grazie...
