The restaurant itself is nice, cosy and small with an outside

The food was good, well done and arrived relatively quickly (+/- 30 mins). We had sword fish, fish risotto and chicken with side dishes of spinach and oven potatoes. The drinks were also good.

The only thing the restaurant could improve a lot with is the service. Or the lack of it. There were 2 waiters - a boy and a girl - and the boy served us.

From the beginning he was so obnoxious, rude and I believe very bored with his life. And the lack of smiling. Even in Paris the waiters smile more and are warmer & more polite. The waiter spoke English with kind of american accent that felt somewhat weird.

The restaurant should change the waiters - find professional, polite, genuine, smiling people to work there whose passion is the client service and giving the best possible experience to each client who...

Taormina has so many beautiful restaurants with excellent service and food, unfortunately this is not one of those.

We had placed a reservation through the well known platform The Fork, only to be told it was “closed” and they hadn’t processed the reservation. This despite them sporting stickers promoting said “closed app”.

Honestly, had the issues ended there it would have been okay - but the food was poorly cooked. The fresh pasta was clearly frozen and the potatoes twice cooked.

The only good things were the wine and water which weren’t prepared in house.

We wanted so badly for this restaurant to be great but it just didn’t meet even the basic expectations. Please visit one of the many beautiful restaurants...

5/5!!! We really enyoed our lunch on our first day in Taormina. This cute place is located central, but still very quiet and authentic and hard to finf in the touristic Taormina. Two days later we came back to have dinner here. The food is really fresh and typical sicilian, what we have looked for.The service and owner are very nice. It was very beautiful to listen to the live music, which was played by the owner here in small corner with a nice glass of red wine. I can only recommend this place if you want an romantic and tastefull dinner or lunch. Thanks to the owner and team for the memorable moments! Hopefully we can...
