I was so excited to get some Thai food and there were many goods and a huge bad. The ambiance, service, and price to portion were great. The experience itself couldn't be better. However, the food was a bit disappointing to be honest. My girlfriend and I took a Thai appetizers plate, a pad thai, a pad see ew, a massaman curry, chicken stir fries and two bowls of rice. The flavor profiles were adjusted to the Italian palate, meaning the dishes should've been sweeter and more sour. Maybe their food sells well to the local population, but for the people who search for authentic Thai food, this place would need some major improvement. Asian was looking for Asian cuisine so i tried Thai foods here. From the name of Thai & Japanese not very related, Seems more Japanese style but I would try!! After all I realised The taste not original. First som tam ( papaya salad ) a bit mild taste ( lack of something) , next : pad Thai is sweet & not dry . Third: tom yam soup is a bit salty & look not very good with surface bubbles. Last : beef curry - sweet again & i had to ask salt to add on . Service was lovely and nice setting inside. I'm not big on bad reviews but this one has to happen... The Thai food here, is horrendous. The worst I've had. You can sell Thai food if you don't put any garlic, chilli or fish sauce. I eat a lot of Thai food and visit Thailand regularly. Please please, put more love into this food, extremely bland. Little to no flavour. Also sweet and sour chicken and beef and black bean is not Thai... We didn't try the Japanese food so maybe that's how this place go good reviews.
