Chakramen Trieste — Restaurant in Trieste

We recently came at Chakramen in Trieste and we were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food and fast service. Air conditioned 🌬️ as well with an Anime theme.

They have an extended menu via app, and that in my opinion will put off some older folks. Though it works quite well and you have additional details about the dishes, allergens etc - some are very complex etc.

The Beef Baos were excellent and so was the Ramen. Still looking forward to trying the Cold Noodles 🍜, we will be hungry for more very soon 😁

Ebi tempura, the two shrimps are totally raw, and the waitress just always told us it’s normal and that’s how they cook. She even told us it’s Chinese style and then also told us the chef is off today????……. Unbelievable, It’s not our first time to eat tempura and the bad quality of tempura is very difficult for us to believe her description. Very very bad experience. No next time, sorry.

Remark: September was our first time in this restaurant, the quality was good and the Korean waitress was very nice and kind. But today, totally different, food quality is bad, waitress is also different, not the kind...

The place was decorated by Naruto merchandise while the servers were wearing cute One Piece shirts. The shoyu and tonkotsu ramen noodles lacked flavor but the tantan ramen was very tasty! I would have preferred if the ramen were served really hot. Other side dishes like karaage, takoyaki, yakitori, and tempura were also very good.

Overall, easily one of the best Asian restaurants in the Trieste.
