Be careful at Bianca Pizzeria in Trieste — the one right next to the sea canal.
Today they gave us the wrong pizza (see photo), which we only noticed later (we live in Koper, Slovenia). But that’s not the main issue. While we were waiting for the pizza, one of the staff members (bald-headed) started playing football... with an orange, kicking it around the restaurant. Another staff member — a waiter — was laughing and filming it on his phone. Then the “football player” placed the orange on a shelf. It's quite possible that they later used it to make someone’s juice. What makes it worse — this “footballer” turned out to be the manager. A word of advice to the owners: fire people like this, check your cameras, and supervise your team. When I came back to exchange the pizza, the bald manager started yelling, waving his hands around, and acting hysterical.
The pizzaiolo, on the other hand, immediately admitted his mistake and apologized sincerely. He was the only respectful and reasonable person there. Meanwhile, the second waiter tried to serve us the new burrata pizza with unwashed hands. He placed the burrata on our pizza with his bare hands, without wearing gloves. These are the same hands he uses to carry dirty dishes from outside tables and handle cash from customers. I told him this was completely unacceptable — only the pizzaiolo should be handling food ingredients. In short, the atmosphere in this pizzeria:…no hygiene, no respect, WC like a pigsty. The only positive thing was the pizzaiolo himself, who had the courage to admit his mistake. He is clearly a true professional — and we all...

We went to Bianco yesterday for dinner and I have never experienced such a low quality service and food. I am from Trieste and chose this spot with my friends because of the location. It started with the waitress and waiter, each of them rude and highly unprofessional. Starting with the drinks, they were unacceptable and just not drinkable. The food just didn’t taste good and it was difficult to even eat, which is sad for the nice location they have. Some may say it’s a matter of taste, but all 4 of us had stomach problems the same night until today, and we all ate the same thing. I usually only review good places because I don’t want to ruin a hard working company’s reputation, but after this experience followed by bad stomach problems and a ruined dinner night, I had to give a genuine review. This place is focused only on mass tourism, and if you are a tourist in Trieste, choose another place that respects you as a guest and gives you a good service and...

I recently visited Bianco and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. We received a pizza that had a blonde hair on it. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress, she claimed it was our hair, despite the fact that we both have brown hair. After pointing this out, she replied that she wasn’t the one serving us, so it wasn’t her problem. We raised the issue with another waiter, who gave us the same response but he took the pizza away. However, we had to wait 30 minutes for a replacement pizza.

To make matters worse, there was a group of pigeons eating leftover food at a nearby table, which was unhygienic and off-putting. We had also asked to change tables due to the weather, but the waiter refused, saying we can’t and when it started to rain they take down the umbrella we were sitting...

For English speakers: AVOID THIS PLACE THEY RIP YOU OFF, A BOTTLE OF AWFUL WHITE (3 EUROS AT THE SUPERMARKET) COSTS 28 EUROS!!!

I had the pleasure of dining at Bianco, a pizzeria located near the city canal in Trieste, Italy. The location itself added to the charm of the experience, with a pleasant view of the canal. The pizza at Bianco was absolutely fantastic, with a delightful combination of flavors and a thin, crispy crust. The beer selection was great, offering a variety of options to complement the meal. Additionally, I must mention the tuna dish, which was simply excellent. The fresh and well-prepared tuna surpassed my expectations. The staff at Bianco were friendly and provided attentive service. If you find yourself in Trieste, I highly recommend visiting Bianco for their amazing pizza, scenic location near the city canal, and delicious tuna.
