Loop — Restaurant in Trieste

Me and the wife ate here on 3 occasions. The first meal was decent and the other 2 times were just side dishes to satisfy a snacking hunger while having cocktails. We really enjoyed this place the staff were extremely nice and very attentive. Thank you to all the staff at Loop for just being excellent people everytime we came and talking about your lives and dreams and giving us a different perspective of a culture that differs from our own. Alot of people will post about the food. This place excells with personality if you just take the time to talk to them as regular people and that in itself makes the dining experience...

Allora iniziando dalla location, in generale non male...idea buona ma ancora un po' immatura, si potrebbe fare di meglio e osare di piú...Per quanto invece riguarda il menú ed il servizio si apre il sipario...allora servizio( volendo essere buoni) tutto sommato cordiale ma molto molto lento...considerando che si tratta di cucina che principalmente sforna crepes/pancakes o waffle diciamo che 40min di attesa con soli 3 tavoli occupati non è il massimo ( purtroppo questa però è una nota dolente del FVG in generale, non si hanno i ritmi lavorativi delle grandi città o dei posti turistici del sud)...quello che è stato angosciante è invece il menú, anzi nello specifico la qualità degli alimenti utilizzati e la non perfetta cottura dei cibi ...crepes/waffle crudi, pancakes troppo cotti, le creme spalmabili utilizzate, soprattutto quella di pistacchi, erano di pessima qualità e risultavano , pertanto, acquose e poco inclini a sposarsi col piatto e bilanciarne i sapori... Il gelato, con il quale venivano serviti i piatti dolci, era di pessima qualità e si sentiva anche quello purtroppo, in particolare quello al cioccolato era paragonabile, come gusto percepito dal palato, al gelato proteico della Lidl...ed il prezzo purtroppo non è stato in linea con quello che si è consumato...troppo caro per una qualità non buona...pertanto consiglio: per quel prezzo iniziate ad alzare il livello degli alimenti e magari investite su qualche corso per la cottura di crepes/pancakes e waffle (probabilmente sottovalutati come difficoltá in cucina), vedrete che così nel giro di poco tempo avrete sicuro più clienti e il vostro personale sará sicuro in grado di servire un piatto senza perdersi nella cittá, neanche...

The location is nice, the stuff is super nice and friendly but the food is just terrible, not tasty, not cooked well, ingredients are not fresh, everything is tasteless. I got crunchy chicken in cornflakes and it was over fried, couldn’t feel any chicken, pasta frittata was bad, made from yesterday’s pasta, zero taste, eggplants roll the same, absolutely no flavours, nothing interesting in the dish, you just leave...
