Open Baladin Torino — Restaurant in Turin

Don’t be intimidated by the place, as it is located at the base of a skate park. The kids skateboarding are fine, and didn’t cause us any trouble. In fact, there are many young professional families with their kids and pushing baby strollers right past the skaters into the restaurant.

The craft beer selection is very wide (by Italian standards) and the craft beer they showcase is top notch. We got the Rock N Roll and All Done; great IPAs! They were so good, we just got another round of them instead of trying other beers; they were that good! Honestly, the beer at Baladin was just as good as getting craft beer from southern Cal or Chicago, and we go craft beer hopping quite a lot. For dinner we shared some ribs and fries, which were delicious and honestly quite enough for two people....

Simply excellent place! My friend and his wife who are locals took us to that place last Friday. It was packed! Full of students and young people, very nice atmosphere and food. I kinda like the place which is not fony and have its own thing, even if its home style baked potatoes like here which were simply excellent :) It is a serious brewery, with couple of dozen types of beers and traditional soft drinks. Randomly stopped in while in town. What a great atmosphere! Sat at the bar and the crew were so friendly! They allowed us to practice our very poor Italian and just made us feel so welcomed! There are lots of beers on top and more in bottles. My spouse loved the hazelnut stout and I enjoyed the sours and their house gin and tonic. We had various food dishes that were decent too.
