Piece Ramen — Restaurant in Turin

Cosy place for anyone who admires Japanese culture and wish to glimpse into their culture. The restaurant might look clichè, but I have heard that some restaurants in Japan look exactly like this - the place where at first sight you think it's not a restaurant but a manga or arcade shop.

Food is great, I recommend to try Asahi super dry beer, if you haven't already, Tonkotsu ramen - one bowl might fill bellies for two; pane maialino - more like a desert, seems like a bao with red beans; ravioli carne - great apetiser; takoyaki - something new you might enjoy, good apetizer.

Service - amazing. You don't need to talk to anyone, very Japanese experience. You can order through their menu system, there are qr codes on the tables.

The place itself is nice and has a clear theme, which creates a good atmosphere. However, the food was disappointing. We tried the karaage ramen, and it really didn’t meet my expectations. The broth was overly oily—I didn’t even want to drink it—and the noodles had a strange taste. The bao bun was just okay, but the portion of meat inside was so small that it didn’t feel worth the price. As for the kimchi, I’d recommend skipping it altogether. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, complimenti ottimi ristorante tipico. La qualità del cibo semplicemente eccezionale. Il ramen era saporito, con un brodo ricco e ben equilibrato, noodles cotti alla perfezione e topping freschi, tra cui l’uovo marinato e le verdure croccanti. La carne tenerissima e gustosa.

Io personalmente ho scelto il set “piece lunch menu riso” era delizioso: riso soffice con semi di sesamo, accompagnato da un curry denso e aromatico, pollo fritto croccante fuori e tenero dentro, zuppa chiara e un contorno di alghe. tutto perfetto per bilanciare i sapori.

Accompagnato da alcuni antipasti: l’involtino primavera era fragrante e leggero, mentre i takoyaki erano tra i migliori mai provati — con fiocchi di katsuobushi danzanti, maionese e salsa tradizionale perfettamente dosate. Anche i gyoza avevano una cottura perfetta: dorati alla base, morbidi sopra e ben farciti.

i piatti sono curati in ogni dettaglio, serviti in eleganti vassoi di legno e ciotole rustiche che esaltano l’esperienza visiva. Anche i cestini in vimini per gli antipasti aggiungono un tocco unico.

il personale è gentile, disponibile e molto attento. Si percepisce passione e cura in ogni aspetto del servizio. Il mio amico ha chiesto un consiglio al cameriere per scegliere il ramen, e ha fatto decisamente un’ottima scelta.
