Beautiful place Great food and drinks, excellent people! 100% perfect! In a beautiful avenue of Udine crossed by a water channel, this place, or as it is written on the plate "Osteria con cucina", we really did an immersion in a beautiful experience of local cuisine among flavors, colors and scents ecstatic! The outdoor tables were above the water channel and this evocative atmosphere kept us company for lunch. Good mise en place. The dishes were all presented very well, with skill and designed to make the palate enjoy them as much as the spirit. The very knowledgeable staff were able to advise us for the best of their local cuisine. Excellent choice of wines: with the appetizer I opted for the "Smoked glazed salmon, tzatziki and pepper breadstick" accompanied by a good white Friulano wine. For main course I chose their "Tagliolini allo sclopit (a local herb that was a real discovery!), Sea bass ragù and its eggs, accompanied by an amazing Pinot Noir Blauburgunder from South Tyrol - Alto Adige. To conclude a "Genius" sweet wine that makes you dream. Coffee eventually brought us back to "work" mode, but with a happy expression on our face....

Se dovessero chiedermi di descrivere la mia esperienza all’Aquila Nera, farei ricorso sicuramente alla frase che dice Jerry Calà in Bomber: “libidine… doppia libidine… libidine coi fiocchi”, perché signore e signori, per me è ciò che ho provato assaggiando la cucina di questo ristorante.

Il locale si adatta perfettamente sia per un pranzo di lavoro, che per una cena romantica, insomma ha un background multiruolo adattabile a qualsivoglia necessità.

L’ambiente è moderno, accogliente e curato e si divide sostanzialmente in un’area esterna verandata a vetro costruita sulla Roggia di Udine e una interna accuratamente arredata dove spicca decisamente la ricca collezione di bottiglie di vino, alcune corredate dalle loro cassette in legno che fanno ambiente.

Per quanto mi riguarda la scelta è caduta su un antipasto e un secondo di carne (anticipati da una entree offerta gentilmente dalla casa) preparati con ingredienti freschissimi, ma tranquilli nessun allarme, per chi lo desiderasse ci sono anche dei piatti a base di pesce e dei deliziosi primi (ovviamente ipotesi legata alle descrizioni riportate sul menù sommata all'esperienza con antipasto e secondo).

Il servizio è impeccabile e il personale è molto gentile, disponibile anche alla battuta (cosa che personalmente apprezzo) e preparato soprattutto per guidare il cliente, qualora lo desiderasse, nella scelta del vino da abbinare ai piatti selezionati.

Dolci spaziali... o meglio galattici, non posso descriverli dovete assolutamente assaggiarli voi stessi!

Una chicca che coccola (allitterazione totalmente casuale ma funzionale) il cliente è un piccolo tocco di classe nel bagno, dove oltre al sapone potete trovare a vostra disposizione sia le salviette in cotone, ottima alternativa al classico asciugamani elettrico, che una piacevole crema mani da adoperare dopo lavaggio e asciugatura.
