Himalaya Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Udine

We were really disappointed with this food. We do not recommend this place. Indian style food is one of my favourites and we have tried it in many countries. This was the worst. Service was ok, but food not.

First, it didn't have almost any spices, just boring and really sweet sauce.

Second, portions are 1/3 of what you get usually in Indian or Nepalese restaurants.

Third, I ordered lamb and there was three pieces. A little bit of muscul meat and the rest some unchewable rubbery parts of meat. Our other dish was supposed to be with shrimps, which turned out to be mostly potatos.

Fourth, on the menu it showed two chilies and the food was not hot at all. Ok, that's fine, in different cultures they have different gradations, so I asked for a hot sauce and they brought sauce from Lidl..shame for an Indian restaurant in my opinion, if they can't do a chilie sauce.

Ho recentemente avuto il piacere di cenare al ristorante indiano Himalaya di Udine e devo dire che è stata un'esperienza eccezionale. Sin dal mio arrivo, sono stato accolto con grande gentilezza e cortesia da parte del personale, che si è dimostrato altamente professionale e disponibile durante tutta la serata.

Il cibo è stato assolutamente delizioso, preparato con ingredienti di alta qualità e grande attenzione ai dettagli. Ogni piatto era un'esplosione di sapori autentici, capace di trasportarmi in un viaggio culinario attraverso l'India. Ho particolarmente apprezzato il pollo tikka masala e il pollo in salsa di pomodoro, curry e miele, ma ogni pietanza del menu merita di essere provata!

Il servizio impeccabile, unito alla bontà e alla varietà del cibo, rende il ristorante Himalaya una scelta perfetta per chiunque si trovi a Udine e desideri gustare della cucina etnica di alta qualità. Raccomando vivamente questo ristorante a tutti gli amanti della cucina indiana e a coloro che vogliono sperimentare nuovi sapori in un ambiente accogliente e raffinato.
