Ristorante al Lepre — Restaurant in Udine

We visited two times. The food was good, also the Ambiente and the decoration. But the staff was both times very unfriendly. The first day a server spilled a whole bottle of coke right into my lap. When we then wanted to pay they wanted us to pay for the spilled one. After we weren’t able to pay separate the card machine failed to accept a perfectly fine working ec card. When we wanted to try again, the left us waiting in the middle of the entrance for another 10 minutes without reacting to many polite requests to finally serve us so we can leave. The second day we got there at 7 and they gave us a table under the agreement that we will leave before 9 because there’s a reservation. The staff was even unfriendlier when they took our plates when we were still chewing and asked if there’s anything else we want to order. When we answered with no, they immediately asked us to leave. We then just wanted to finish our drinks, but 2 minutes later the staff came again and made us leave at 8:13!!! In my opinion that’s not something that should happen in...

We had a wonderful lunch at Ristorante al Lepre in Udine. The grilled octopus was perfectly cooked—tender and flavorful with just the right char. The risotto with herbs and shrimp was beautifully balanced, creamy, and full of fresh, delicate flavors. To finish, we tried their tiramisu, which was absolutely amazing—light, rich, and clearly made with care.

The service was excellent: warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. It really made the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed.

mediocre Frulia food for peasants...authentic but tasteless..so I guess it's not their fault ...on Sundays they don't have the standard menu, they only serve local traditional food...which unfortunately does nothing more then fill your stomach. all dishes tasted pretty much the same...from barley to cheese to sausage...it all.strangely.. tasted the same. the wine was good though..so ...it's up to u...that said..our dog loved it ..there were plenty...
