Ristorante La Posteria — Restaurant in Unione dei comuni della Versilia

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the beginning, the staff made us feel unwelcome. The place was empty when we arrived, but they asked if we had a reservation with very rude expressions instead of greeting us kindly.

It was clear they treated foreign guests differently. Italian guests were served bread several times, while we received it only once. People who arrived after us got their food much faster, even though we had been waiting longer.

They placed us next to a server who didn’t speak or understand English, even though they had English-speaking staff available. The overall atmosphere was cold, with no smiles, no kind words, and constant unpleasant looks at our table.

The food itself wasn’t terrible, but for the price it should have been much better. Sadly, the poor service and unwelcoming attitude ruined the...

Sorry meant to put one star. Dined on 29.6.family of 4. Waited over an hour to be served with drinks even longer for our food. We came at.830 as soon as our main course arrived 1030 I paid at til as we all wanted to leave straight away. No acknowledgement from owner who was at til. We come viareggio every year last time ever to dine at Posteria its not up to standard. Plenty of other excellent restaurants in viareggio. Avoid this one as it will be hit or miss on service quality of food . I had pasta with cingighale sauce bland . One of my husband dishes never show and he got his after all of ours do he...

Ci sediamo alle 20:30, ordiniamo alle 20:45 un primo e un antipasto e ci servono dopo 50 minuti. Il locale era pieno, tuttavia ben 4 tavoli che hanno ordinato dopo di noi ricevono le portate prima. Tra questi anche un tavolo che si è seduto quando noi avevamo già ordinato. Chiediamo due volte a che punto è il nostro cibo senza ricevere risposta. Durante l'attesa nessun cameriere si è scusato o ci ha portato del pane. Finalmente arriva l'insalata di mare della mia compagna (senza pane e senza salviettine, cose che hanno portato ad altri tavoli con il medesimo piatto) e i ravioli vegani per me. L'insalata era povera di pesce e poco saporita, i ravioli buoni, ma niente di speciale. Non abbiamo ordinato altro per via dell'attesa. Al momento del conto non si sono scusati, non hanno dato spiegazioni e non si sono offerti di farci uno sconto. Altri tavoli intorno a noi si sono più volte lamentati per l'attesa. Peccato, avevo scelto questo ristorante per la vasta scelta di piatti vegani. Servizio imbarazzante.

Il cameriere che ci ha fatto il conto (con gli occhiali) è stato gentile nonostante avesse evidente fretta nel fare altre mille cose.

Il cameriere a cui abbiamo chiesto a che punto fossero i piatti era talmente indaffarato che iniziava a fare altre cose senza venirci a comunicare la risposta.

Capisco il locale pieno e l'attesa, ma veder mangiare tutti tranne noi due dopo un'ora di attesa, senza scuse e spiegazioni è inaccettabile.

Una stella dunque a causa dell'atteggiamento poco attento...
