Thai Food on the Slopes – What a Find!

Who would've thought you’d find authentic Thai food right on the slopes of Cervinia? Oriental Thai was such a pleasant surprise and quickly became one of our favourites during the trip.

The Pad Thai and Thai red curry were absolutely spot on – full of flavour, comforting, and just what you need after a day of skiing. My 9-year-old was over the moon to find sushi on the menu – not something you’d expect mid-mountain, and such a treat!

Special shoutout to Songkran, the amazing cook – everything was freshly made, beautifully presented, and packed with flavour.

Very nice in local terms, especially as a noon snack. Compared to good Thai restaurants, doesn't really stack up on most dishes. Still recommend but don't expect restaurant food, except for some sushi rolls.

Avoid the chicken, just pale and bland. Avoid the red curry - diluted and filled with laundered vegetables. Order shrimp-based dishes in midday - by evening, they are stringy and dry, probably because they've been cooked hours ago. Avoid crunchy rolls that contain overcooked fish.

The rice and noodle portions are rather small, but reasonable for the price (considering the location in a ski resort).

This kiosk is a very nice choice at Cervinia! The combination of delicious flavours with the fantastic view of Cervino/Matterhorn is just top! You can eat tasteful lunch just close to the ski lifts and then continue exploring the slopes! The staff is also very friendly. Just highly...
