Owner would not allow my 4year old to use the bathroom, even though we offered instantly to pay a fee . Fortunately allowed my husband in the end to buy a coffee so she could go. Came here for lunch. Didn't expect much as it seemed like a cafe and didn't have a set menu. The person at the counter welcomed me and called the owner who wrote a small list of food that they could prepare. I ordered pasta with speck and if I remember correctly asparagus. And I swear that was one of my most favourite meals I had in Venice...it was soo good. And the owner is also really nice and...

Ho avuto una buona esperienza in questo locale piuttosto caldo, che offre qualcosa agli abitanti e ai lavoratori di Venezia.

Purtroppo oggi è emersa l'altra faccia della medaglia, con un proprietario che è un gran bugiardo: mentre mi metteva in mano un panino, mi ha eccepito un pagamento in contanti (che non avevo) e ha sostenuto che "sapevo benissimo" che stava pagando una commissione maggiore su un piccolo pagamento con carta per un panino rispetto al prezzo che riceveva.

Quando ho risposto che si trattava di una legge italiana, mi ha detto "ma lei vive qui?", una piccola nota antiregionalista non necessaria, come se si dovesse essere di Venezia per sapere che l'Italia è particolarmente all'avanguardia nei micropagamenti.

Così ho rimesso il suo panino sul bancone e il signore mi ha tirato indietro la mia carta, che gli ho pregato di restituire dopo che l'aveva accettata a malincuore. Buona giornata alla maleducazione

Fortunatamente, ci sono altri bar della stessa categoria dove alla Giudecca si viene trattati bene, indipendentemente dal fatto che si supponga che siate di Venezia, Roma o di qualche orribile paese straniero.

Più cordialità, meno serietà nelle piccole bugie, e tutto...
