Luganegher — Local services in Venice

Worst gelato place in Venice. Would recommend other places.

1. They are skimpy with their portions
2. They will overcharge you and treat you rudely when you point it out
3. Management is even abusive towards their own staff
4. They waste food

The person helping us was charging more than they should have for the size of cup we got. When we pointed this out, another staff comes in, berates the original staff in front of us, takes our ice cream and throws it out in trash, and then literally got the same size cup except this time they gave us much less ice cream.

To the owner that responded to this: how rude you are in your response to the review is very revealing. You’re lucky you’re in Venice and get frequent new tourists because the way you run this business, you would not succeed...

16 days in Italy. So many restaurants researched on the web. Went in here by mistake. My daughter and I split a pomodoro mozzarella pesto sandwich. We were on the way home in the Frankfurt airport discussing the trip and the best food. And it just kept coming up, that sandwich. It was perfect. We had such a great experience at Luganegher in Venice. Their ice cream is absolutely delicious, super creamy and full of flavor. We also tried their sandwiches and they were just as amazing.
