Complete scam, not worth your money.

I asked the waiter very carefully, "Are the pancakes Japanese souffle, and are the insides WET?" He said yes. We ordered. The pancakes arrived within 1 min, which was a huge red flag, as they typically take 20 mins. They were fluffy, sure, but they were not Japanese souffle level. They were just dry inside.

The bacon was completely burnt. The bread was so cold the butter wouldn't spread, and they didn't have jam. The pesto salad was meh.

Finally, they have more sitting fees that, of course, are tucked away (like every other place in Venice). Our total came up to almost 40 euros, and we shared our food. We won't be coming back.

Update: In response to the business owner's message, I want to say a few more things.

If you honestly answered that the pancake is dry inside, I would have ordered the french toast instead. I understand that a souffle pancake at a Japanese consistency is difficult. However, that is why I asked before I purchased it. You told us wet, and it was not wet. You provided an overcooked, dry, souffle pancake. This is evident by the fact that it was served within a minute. There is no souffle pancake that can be prepared on the spot within a minute unless it was already cooked. That is not something we wanted to pay 15 euros for.

If some people like black, burnt bacon and some don't, why not ask...?

"Regarding the price, they are all mentioned in the menu," is a weak response to hidden coperto / sit down fees. I'm aware that all of Venice is engaging in this shady business tactic, but that does not mean that I cannot mention it here. You did not hand me my receipt after paying, whereas every other business did. Only after asking for my receipt did I see the sit down fees and how high they were. (Some sort of size 2 font on your menu in a tiny corner hidden with white font...

A Venice Morning to Remember – A (hungry) Brunch Lover’s Dream

We landed in Venice groggy and luggage-laden after an early flight, and stumbled upon what can only be described as brunch heaven. This charming little breakfast spot greeted us like an old friend with open arms, smiling faces, and the coziest vibes imaginable.

Before we could blink, the lovely staff had whisked away our bags and tucked us into a little nook, where fairy lights twinkled, and paper cranes danced gently above us. It was like stepping into a Pinterest board brought to life but better, because it smelled like fresh coffee. The decor is clean, youthful, and thoughtfully decorated, a perfectly airy atmosphere that invites you to exhale and stay a while. The food is so pretty! We’re talking magazine-cover beautiful but not in a pretentious way. Each dish felt lovingly crafted, vibrant, and full of fresh flavours. Everything was as delicious as it was IG worthy. I found myself checking out the other diner’s food as we were leaving. The avocado toast looked AMAZING!

The coffee? Absolute perfection. Smooth, strong, and served however you like it.

What really makes this place sing, though, is the energy. It’s light. Happy. Effortlessly joyful. Everyone, staff and diners alike, seemed to be having a lovely time, and the whole space buzzed with that magic feeling of a good morning well spent.

If you’re in Venice and craving something delicious in a beautiful, uplifting setting, this little...

Extremely cozy and friendly place. If you need a mood booster to have a good start into the day you should definitely come here.

The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. They care about their customers and listen to feedback.

The cafe has very cute interior and the music adds to the happy vibe.

In terms of food you can choose between a big variety of sweet and salty dishes and the Menu was designed with a lot of care. It's definitely one of the prettiest menu's I've seen so far.

We chose the fluffy pancakes and a chicken wrap and were stunned with the texture and flavour of both. The chicken wrap is very balanced, has a lot of meat and veggies that compliment the taste. The pancakes had the same taste and flavour of fluffy pancakes I had in Japan - so compliments to the kitchen staff for managing to getting this right. It's served with fresh fruit and enough sauce to satisfy everyone's saucy needs!

If you want to have a relaxing all day brunch experience with lots of good food, drinks and super nice staff you need to come here. Bring some time and relax. You will not regret it.

Thank you to the staff for the incredible service. We really...
