AVOID!!!! So, first of all we walked up to see the menu and a guy approached us with another menu that had food photos and all seemed ALRIGHT. As we were not sure about eating there he started trying to convince us telling good things such as the food is really good and then he said no extra charges as some other places charge either 3£ per person or a % that is stated normally on a menu or somewhere where is easy to see. Anyway, the drinks came and my gf's glass was dirty, we told to the waitress and he brought us a new drink and another glass. Sorted there, happens I guess. Then the main food came...... My girlfriend has ordered grilled chicken with fries and salad. The chicken itself was very dry and not grilled at all only fried on a pan. The salad was a couple of lettuce leafs with a few slices of carrot. My dish was pasta with chillies and garlic. When it arrived it looked like there were no chilles only oil, pasta and garlic.. Not much flavour either. And then the last thing was the bill. As I have mentioned before the guy has said, before we even sat down, that there is no extra charge but guess what the bill has arrived with 10% charge for something. I already knew about it as after a dirty glass I started checking the reviews and saw some other people complaining about this fee. I asked our waitress what's that and he said tax. I told him that the other guy has told us that there is no extra charge. He said wait, I will check. He walked up to that guy and came back within seconds saying its tax. What kind of tax or for what for he hasn't said to us. We ended up paying tho but felt like tricked at the end of the day. The food itself was really bad.. Not sure how can some people here leave positive 5 star reviews, must be that waitress and the guy at the entrance perhaps 🤣🤣 Avoid, not worth your time and...

for a first time in my life i've been in such a horrible place. weiter was the most rude person ive met. one of the weiter told me that i cant get wifi password and i have to go out, and then ask him again. when I had to use toilet weiter told me again that i have to go out. for the first time in my life i feel like a dog. i ordered spaghetti for my family and then i ordered espresso and beer, i didnt get beer (i said about beer 3 times and they ignored me) espresso was in small Barbie cup and HALF EMPTY! no water, no milk, no sugar... nothing. the worst caffee ive ever had. at the end when I paid weiter gave me to much money back, so i start counting to give it back to him but he scream "ITS MINE" and he pulled it out of my hands like from a dog and then he almost throw that money on the table. my family was shocked. he treat me like I murder his family or something.. i was working in many many restaurant, and in different type. but im still surprised how the hell something like that happend. DONT GO THERE IF YOU DONT WANT RUIN YOUR MOOD FOR REST OF YOUR DAY. THIS WEITER WAS THE MOST RUDE...

Stay away!!! My family was in the area of this place and hubby wanted a coffee. He ordered a double espresso (for 3 euro!) and tried to sit at one of the outdoor tables. There were about 30 tables but only 4 were filled... So they really weren't busy. When my elderly mother tried to sit down, however, the waiter said she couldn't... Nor me, nor my child... Because only my husband had ordered the coffee. They told us it was because to sit at a table there is a service charge and only he had paid.... which I could sort of understand if there was some serving involved! But my husband to fetch his own coffee! So we all had to stand there awkwardly while he gulped it down quickly. Incredible to make an elderly woman stand... That's just basic manners! Had we been allowed to sit, I'd bet others would have decided to order something. Rude, stupid service and overpriced, bad espresso to boot. You can do...

Right after I sat at the table I began to read the google maps comments and after a while I was sure they are going to give us bad drinks, dirty glasses and then try to gull us on a bill by adding fees and not letting us pay by card unless we spend at least 20eur. I was waiting for any sign, already writing a bad review in my mind and they gave me... nothing. Besides super tasty and refreshing Hugo Spritz in very nice, clean glasses and additional free snacks. We paid 4eur for each drink (which by the way is a very good price in Venice!) so 16eur in total. So for me there was: NO coperto, NO additional 10% fee, NO snacks charge, NO minimal amount for card-pay. I have to give it 5 stars.

We’ve ordered 4 pizza, but it’s not what italian pizza was supposed to taste like. The waiting was okay, but… After eating 3 slices of pizza we’be found a thick, black hair in the pizza. The hunger went away automatically… We’ve heard „sorry, it happens” First of all It shouldn’t have happened at all, not in a restaurant, nor any other places The good thing was they removed one pizza from the receipt, which was fair, but the talk about our table continued through our whole stay there… not nice. Also we were seated at the dirty table… Another situation was, when a pair of new cutlery fell down on the ground, well the waiter just picked it up and gave it to another guest… yuck

The place is worth it for its location: it's in the middle of a quiet square, perfect for a lunch on a sunny day. The service was ok, even though we saw a waiter screaming at people who sit at one table and decided to leave without ordering anything. The worst part though was the food: I ordered a carbonara, which was made with ham (not bacon, not guanciale), and the eggs were actually cooked, a sin for any Italian. I would only go there for a drink and appetizer, and then head somewhere less touristy for food.
