I have recently visited the pizza place, Foot Court, located in the Nave de Vero shopping center near Venice multiple times, and I must say that their pizzas were excellent. Not only were they delicious, but the prices were also reasonable, providing me with a delightful dining experience. The individuals working in the kitchen displayed exceptional skills in pizza making, ensuring that the food was of high quality and freshness.
The restaurant boasts an appealing decor, creating a pleasant and inviting ambiance. However, there is a minor downside concerning the behavior of the staff. The employees behind the counter and the waiters/waitresses often lack friendliness and courtesy. It is possible that this stems from the fact that the establishment may not hire highly professional staff members due to its affordable pricing strategy.
Another point worth mentioning is that there is a DJ who plays music at the adjacent area of the pizza place on certain nights. The music selections tend to be outside the mainstream and can be quite loud. It should be noted, though, that this issue is not directly related to the pizza place itself and does not reflect on their overall quality. However, if someone prefers to enjoy their meal in a tranquil atmosphere, this pizza place may not be the...
Read moreOne of my worst dine in experiences. The staff members were so busy (Sunday) to a point they dont really care about customers, but it s ok as I mentioned, it was super busy so it is understandable. The thing which is not ok is the food itself, the menu says pasta with seafood, but when I got the dish it was poorly boiled loke Im chewing a dough without any sauce, literally boiled spaghetty with pieces of mussels. There was no prawns or calamari or any kind of seafood apart from mussels (which I dont eat). I called the waiter and tild him that it says "seafood" where is it ? If it s only clams, then just write "pasta with mussels" and that s it, it s just one word normally when restaurants write seafood, it s because they cannot write "pasta with prawns and calamari and mussels and octopus..." so they sum it up in "pasta with seafood". But if they know their dish contains only mussels, they can just mention it, and not even some sauce. The surprise was that the waiter did not even bother himself to apologize or at least say that he would double check, at least pretend and come back to apologise. No he just said it is what it is. So disappointing experience. Finally I would say "do not order italian food in Italy", the reputation is much far away...
Read moreThis restaurant was the highlight of our trip! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The menu had an excellent selection of classic Italian dishes, and we could tell everything was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
We started with the bruschetta, which had the perfect balance of crisp bread, juicy tomatoes, and fragrant basil. For the main course, I had the homemade truffle pasta, and it was one of the most flavorful and creamy pastas I’ve ever had! My partner ordered the seafood risotto, which was packed with fresh shrimp, mussels, and clams—absolutely divine.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, checking in on us just the right amount without being intrusive. The meal ended with a homemade tiramisu that was light, creamy, and simply delicious. If you’re in Italy, don’t miss this place—it’s a...
