IMAGINA Café — Restaurant in Venice

I truly appreciate the fact that this cafe allows me to use laptop to do some studying (yes as a college student I do have to work even when traveling), especially after an unpleasant experience at another cafe. I came to this cafe twice this weekend as the staff were so nice, plus there was no music which is what I prefer for working. They even checked whether I need to charge my laptop and told me where I can move to…! The cafe is quite spacious and the food was decent. Would really recommend if you also need to work in Venice which is just not a laptop-friendly place...

Following a walking tour of Dorsoduro our guide advised us to head to Campo Santa Margerita for food. Was walking by this place, which seemed lively and busy. Lots of locals chilling but also workers/students in and out for meal/pasta of the day. Ordered pomodoro, cabonara pasta and salad. All good and tasty portions, for the price. Coffee was spot on. First time in this place, and last time. As foreigners we came to have 1 cappuccino, 1 cola and 2 sandwiches for a total amount of 16€! Being Italian myself, I realised those prices were overpriced, then thought it was Venice prices. But after Having a talk with the bartender in front of this place, i realised the prices have been changed in front of us without giving a receipt. Scam.
