The service was very friendly and they had a great selection of interesting flavors. I decided to try their signature 'Il Doge' flavor – a cream base with candied orange and chocolate chips. It was absolutely fantastic; really creamy with a great balance of citrus and chocolate. I'm glad I took a chance on something unique to the shop.

Read moreI was very dissapointed. I’ve been living in Italy for a few months now and this is not what gelato is supposed to be. The texture here was totally off. Normally gelato cannot be scooped because it is not as dense as American ice cream (it is made at a higher temperature), and is very creamy and light. This was not the case here, the texture was dense and scooped into my cone, and overall lacked flavour. Also, the price was weird, normally the cheapest is 3 euros for two flavours and then 4 euros for three flavour. Here the options were 2.20 for one flavour or 4 for two.
